Goda Venkateswara Sastry

Goda Venkateshwara Sastry is a post graduate in Mathematics and a doctorate in Advaita Vedanta from the Rashtriya Samskrita Samsthan. He is a Kramanta-Svadhyayi in Rg Veda and studied the six angas of Vedas. 

Apart from the above he had undergone the study of darsanas Nyaya, Yoga, Purva Mimamsa and Advaita Vedanta. He has studied Veda Bhasyas of Rg Veda and YajurVeda. 

He had taught these sastras to many disciples and guided many persons to Ph.D. courses in various Universities. He is teaching Vedas, Veda Bhasyas and Sastras to various disciples at various places in Chennai like Sankara Gurukulam, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Sankara Vihar. 

He had authored many books in Vedanta and other allied sastras a list of which is also appended.

Having undergone kramānta (svaśākhā) in Ṛg Veda, Sri Sastrigal completed Veda-bhāṣya of Ṛg Veda as well as Yajur Veda. In addition, he undertook studies in Sāhitya, Nyāya as well as Pūrva-mīmāṁsā. Then he undertook advanced studies in Uttara-mīmāṁsā (Vedānta). Sri Sastrigal has been conferred the coveted title ‘Advaita-siddhi-ratnākara’ by Sudharma
